Brown Dog Originals operates from a working engraving shop at 13 Birds Way in North Waterboro, Maine. Customers are welcome to stop in during open hours to talk through projects, view samples, drop off items for evaluation, or pick up completed orders. Seeing materials in person often helps bring ideas into focus — it’s easier to make decisions about layout, technique, and finish when you can see and feel the difference between engraving types right in front of you.

In addition to custom work, the shop carries a small selection of giftables that are ready to go. Inventory is thoughtfully chosen rather than expansive, featuring customer favorites that are gift-ready and easy to take home. While the selection is modest, customers often find a piece that feels just right.

Every project begins with a conversation about your timeline, your goals, and the piece itself. Whether you’re planning a personalized gift, a recognition award, wedding keepsakes, or branded pieces for your business or organization, we’ll talk through the best approach and make sure expectations are clear before any work begins.

Conversations can happen in person, by phone, or by email — whatever works best for you. We accept both cash and major credit cards.

Brown Dog Originals serves customers throughout York County and Southern Maine, including Waterboro, Biddeford, Saco, Sanford, Kennebunk, Alfred, and surrounding communities. Custom orders ship throughout the United States for customers who are unable to visit in person.
